Oakland Chamber Network
Todd Lancaster, owner of YourSource Management Group, Inc., recently attended the Oakland Chamber Network Joint Boards Breakfast as a board member of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce. The Oakland Chamber Network brings regional chambers together to collaborate resources for mutual benefit. The breakfast was held October 12, 2011 at the Oakland International Airport. Oakland Chamber Network helps “provide exemplary education, information, marketing programs, networking and events” for all of Oakland County. The event was also attended by the current Governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder and Oakland County Executive, L. Brooks Patterson. Governor Snyder gave a brief review of the first year challenges and accomplishments and shared his vision for the future through “Relentless Positive Action” and creating an environment for success. Ribbon Cutting
A ribbon cutting was held last Sunday, September 29, 2011 to celebrate YourSource Management Group, Inc.'s new building. YourSource is headquartered at 69 N. Squirrel Ct. in Auburn Hills, MI. The new building is located nearby at 3346 Auburn Road, Auburn Hills, MI. In downtown Auburn Hills YourSource uses the new space in the secondary location for its payroll, benefits and accounting staff. Owner, Todd Lancaster, says of the expansion “it was a natural transition for us, because there is so much interaction between these departments. The new space will allow them to be even more efficient.” YourSource Management Group, Inc. mentioned the expansion in a post last December.

BFC Awards
YourSource Management Group, Inc. received an Employer Award from Oakland County Business Finance Corporation (BFC.) BFC jointly celebrated its 30th anniversary with the Economic Development Corporation of Oakland County (EDC.) The ceremony took place Thursday, June 9, 2011 at Oakland Hills Country Club. The ceremony honored 27 businesses, 25 of which are based in Oakland County. The event was attended by L. Brooks Patterson, featured in the photo with Todd and Kate Lancaster. YourSource – Our Economic Development Team from City, County, and State has recently visited with Your Source at 69 Squirrel Court. YourSource has received an incentive package from the State and City to expand operations in Auburn Hills. Congratulations YourSource. They will be hiring 25 new employees over the next five years. YourSource manages and administers payroll and human resource functions for companies. YourSource also develops their own software for these purposes and plans to fill a new niche soon.

Human Resource Service Firm Expanding in Auburn Hills
As reported in Metromode, YourSource Management Group Inc. focuses on handling human resource work for companies both big and small. “In the last three years we have doubled in size,” Todd Lancaster, CEO said. “We have grown organically just from providing HR without the overhead.”
The 11-year-old firm providing human resource services plans to invest of $1.5 million to consolidate and expand in Auburn Hills after considering Tennessee. The company is expected to create up to 65 total jobs, including 27 directly at the company and 38 spin-off jobs. The project is supported by a state tax credit valued at $206,943 over five years.

MEGA tax credits to create and retain jobs
Five Oakland County companies were among nine businesses in Southeast Michigan approved for economic development tax incentives offered by the state.
